Rose Johannson realizes that Andre, her significant other, has been lying to her for a long time. He begins to lose his sanity, and Johannson continually ditches school in order to care for him. Andre does not always act grateful for her care for him.[2]
Baby Intelligence and Baby Strength get in a fight over how to break open the boulder containing one of Sir Edgar Caravan's scrolls. Fortunately, Force Baby breaks it up and they are able to hide from the arriving NoHead Recruits. They go into the city, where they are invited to Carol Wilcox's house. Unfortunately, Bash disappears after lunchtime and dies. They visit Wilcox and learn they need to find the third scroll on Mount Everest.[6]
The following day, Charles greets Nelson, at which point he has already realized he feels what he will much later identify as "obsessive love" for her. Meanwhile, Nelson is merely cordial towards him and doesn't reciprocate at all.

Nelson falls asleep and does not turn up at school until after sixth period. When she arrives, Charles learns that she is dating Blaise Parton, much to his horror.

Charles Hugh is once again given the chance to join the Armies of Organa, but he continues to decline.[2]
Charles runs into Rose Johannson and hugs her tightly. She asks why they had no contact and he said that legally speaking, they aren't supposed to talk because Leah had placed a restraining order on her. Johannson suggests that they meet in secret and Charles assures her that he could not care less that she was a Cavalier.[2]

2022: Rose Johannson and Andre break up. Andre goes on the run. Johannson settles with two or three close friends from Westridge Elementary School, located near her neighborhood, but she begins spending more and more of her time alone. 2025: At some point between February 1 and February 22, Mr Robotika ends his term as long-term substitute and Mrs. Clara returns to her post.[14]

Summer Petersen's fifteenth birthday:Summer Petersen's parents bring their daughter thirty entire cakes, two for each year of her life. Petersen also decides to make herself a special drink by mixing cake mix with heavy whipping cream and making use of birthday cake mix and shaking it all up in a shaker, making three full cups. She begins eating her cake in the meantime.[2]
Valentine's Day is the traditional day on which people express their love for each other, particularly romantic love, by sending Valentine's cards, presenting flowers, or offering sweets.

Roxanne Waterston and Gummi the Bare make their friends a Valentine's cake. However, Joseph Abernathy complains that it gives him heartburn, which the Object queasily agrees with, scaring Gummi into not trying any, so no one truly enjoys the cake as a result.[22]

After a nightmare of an unknown subject, Brown decided to sleep some more. However, Mary yanked the blanket out of him telling him to go to school. As Zachary began to rank some of his school days entitled, he realized he forgot if he had a test the following night or not, so he decided to peek on Reggan Holme on next door, which was seen reading his math textbook. Zachary panicked due to his textbook left on his locker and Mrs Clara’s warning about summer school. Brown did find his notes, but they were scribbles instead.[24]
When Mary gave him oatmeal, Zachary imagined his vision of going to summer school. In the present, Jon walked in and ate his oatmeal. Mary arrived and told Jon he had been given some cookie dough as an anonymous gift, but Jon was suspicious and did not want it. Zach asked if he could have it instead, and Mary said no. After she asked the kids about school, Jon chatted indistinctly, and Zachary told her nothing had happened, making his mother suspicious. Zachary snatched the cookie dough off the table and fled the house at once, but he tripped over Doughnuts. Brown tried to think some plans to not take the “test”, but came up with flaws of failing the steps. Brown decided next he should skip school, but that wouldn’t work either due to the Machine. His third suggestion was an excuse note. He successfully wrote the note, but refused to forge Mary’s signature because he didn’t want to go to jail for it. Reggan appeared behind him, which scared Zachary. He hid away his note from Holme but decided to confess that he wanted to get out of the test they had. Holme was confused, and told Brown there was no test. Brown was overjoyed, but was annoyed by Holme’s complementing of the alleged test, which got him hit by a binder.[24]
The school bell rang, and Brown walked to Tower Placement School. The announcements turned on, and Brown started to blank out. He later took out a list of all of Mrs Clara's nicknames, but Clara noticed it and gave Brown a detention. Brown exited the room after class, along with Holme and Freeman. They were greeted by Steven Thompson and Summer Petersen.[24]
In English, Brown decided to write a poem about Summer Petersen as Mrs. Garcia]] went over the types of poems students can write. Brown settled on writing a love poem, but Tyler noticed it and with her tedious tattletale tendencies, loudly told the whole classroom about it. Petersen and Thompson were both repulsed, and everyone stared at Brown. As Garcia tried to calm him down, Brown yelled, "GRACE NEEDS TO KEEP HER MOTHERFUCKER SHUT!". This earned him another detention slip.[24]
After English, Brown, Holme, and Freeman headed off, where they saw drawings on a display case. Steven Thompson’s drawing was the most popular, as it had been for two months. They congratulated Thompson, who walked by them and headed to art class. Brown tried to get Mr. Keaton, the art teacher, to put his drawing in the display case, but Keaton said he had no time. Brown asked Holme to provide a distraction, and while Holme set off a balloon around the classroom, Brown sneaked out of the room to put his drawing on display. He reached the display case, but when attempting to pry it open, the doorknob broke off. Keaton heard this, ran outside, and gave Brown his third detention.[24]
Later the three friends went to the cafeteria, only to see Malgus, a bully, at their table. They were afraid at the prospect of asking him to move, so they sat next to Copper, who was reading the book of records. Brown asks him how Debate class is going, and he told him that not only had Grace Tyler presided over it as leader, but she had named them the "Thoughtful Bunnies", infuriating him. He ordered tomato soup for lunch, which they happened to be serving, and he wondered over to spill it on Tyler. Unfortunately, he tripped and the contents of the soup bowl found their way to Summer Petersen (his middle school crush) instead. Petersen became furious and even threatened to kill him, but Thompson was able to calm her down and they decided to go play in the Cave Room. They departed leaving Brown feeling devastated. However, Tyler had deduced that he had been aiming for her and had already left the cafeteria. After Freeman joked that it was still a better love story than Romeo and Juliet, Brown chucked him headfirst into the table, but Principal Zambaux caught him. Brown was taken to the Principal's Office, where Zambaux scolded him, compared him to his older brother Jon, and reminded him that he had a lot of potential. Uninspired by anything Zambaux had said, Brown then received his fourth detention.[24]
The trio was late for gym with Coach Shabani, whom Brown disliked. Coach Shabani told Brown to dress for class. He went into the locker room, when he realized there was bean juice all over his mouth. He leaned over the sink counter to wash his face, but water stained his shorts. He was worried everyone would assume he wet his pants, so he began seeking something else to wear. Coach Shabani urged Brown to hurry, causing him to panic. Luckily, Brown found a pair of shorts, although they were far too oversized. He stuffed them with towels in them to make it fit. He exited the locker room, but was confused by the other students laughing, until he realized he was wearing Coach Shabani's shorts. Furious, Coach Shabani forced Brown to run wind sprints. Realizing Coach Shabani assumed he had been making fun of him, Brown passed out, his stomach full of green beans. At the end of class, he was given a detention slip.[24]
After gym, Brown, Holme, and Freeman walked over to math class. When they arrived, Clara gave them a pop quiz. Brown looked at the quiz and found it surprisingly easy. When he finished it, the everyone else was still working, including his enemy Grace Tyler, to his satisfaction. Clara announces the quiz is over and tells everyone to "check your answers front and back". When Brown heard this, he flipped over his test, and saw that there were more questions on the back. As students handed back quizzes, Brown went crazy and randomly answered questions. Ms. Clara came to him and grabbed the quiz, but Brown refused to hand it over. They both tugged on opposite ends of the sheet, pulled it, which tore it in half. The teacher was outraged and gave Brown another detention.[24]
Zachary Brown walked with Reggan Holme and Ian Freeman to science, the last class of the day. When Brown noticed Fisher, his science teacher, he decided to try and make him laugh, because he had never seen him laugh before. It was very hard to do, but he refused to give up until Fisher threatened him with a week of detention. When he noticed an ink stain on Fisher's shirt, he started laughing. He received yet another detention.[24]
On his way out, Zachary Brown feels the dough in his body ringing and he nearly collapses. Subsequently, he and Izzy backfire the Esophagus Crisis after Izzy dives into his esophagus to disable a tracker. The culprit, the Dark Priest, is arrested.[24]
Brown remembers where he needs to be, as the school insisted that the day had to conclude in spite of the "interruption". He subsequently goes to the Detention Room, where he gives Mr. Brian his detention slips. He looks at the slips and tells Brown he has broken a record. He has gotten seven detention slips, the most that any student got all at once in Tower Placement history. He realizes that his fortune (You will surpass all others) has came true, which renders Brown ecstatic.[24]
At Health class, Charles and Nelson sit with Kayla in a rare time Nelson comes to class on time. He attempts to get her attention, but she stands up and rushes to the Main Office. Offended, Charles follows her there. One of the office personnel tells them to avoid each other, and they return. But thanks to a revelation from Kayla, Nelson reveals that she has blocked his Instagram account and moves to report him just before class ends. On the way to the office, he meets and defies two members of her posse. Charles and Nelson are forced by two school administrators to create a No-Contact-Contract[2].

He unwittingly deserts his friends and goes to Ilha da Queimada Grande and allows himself to be captured within Ilha Castle has allowed himself to be captured by Niranda in order to obtain more information about her. He learns from an innocent inmate in his cell that Carol Wilcox and Ammon Dorber have romantic feelings for each other.[29]
Niranda the Thrice-Cursed lowers Baby Intelligence from his cell to hang from electric bonds in front of her. However, Baby Intelligence only laughs at Niranda and her new weapon, the Emancipator. Niranda tells Baby Intelligence that the apocalypse has been set in motion, and nothing is going to prevent it.[29]
Baby Intelligence summons Might, frees himself, and battles Niranda and her children. He manages to stab her fatally, thereby preventing the apocalypse.[29]
Baby Intelligence and the prisoner leave the island and he drops him off at a port.[29]

Meanwhile, Dorphane Giles and Lodd successfully steal the Almataffe from the Pyters. She contacts Mr. Stupid NoHead and betrays him, deciding to keep the weapon for herself. Lodd is killed for opposing her decision, and she flees to Illiun.[1]

Duel on Illiun: Mr. Stupid NoHead finds Giles on Illiun, and they engage in a titanic duel. Giles is killed and Mr. Stupid NoHead takes the Almataffe before returning to Earth.[1]
Bladepoint negotiates a deal with the Men of Endar, agreeing to give the Almataffe to them if they help them stop the NoHeads from using it to destroy Superhero University.[1]
Battle of Superhero University: The NoHeads arrive at the university, where Mr. Stupid NoHead uses the Almataffe to decimate the otherwise impenetrable deflector shield around the building. Bladepoint, Abernathy, and Waterston locate Mr. Stupid NoHead's sons in the Dark Tower, and it is destroyed in a skirmish with Bethany Donner and the children by Dark energies. Sheriff Bladepoint blasts Mr. Stupid NoHead. Dual then seals the Almataffe in a new makeshift container, and instead of giving it to the Men of Endar, Bladepoint fakes his death. The Almataffe is subsequently taken by the Grand Army and contained. Kade Coleman, Emma Hone, Urca Iporr, Jeremy, Jackson Lawrence, and RC-31 are all killed.[1]

Battle of Draper: This battle begins the School War. In a series of wooded trees, Helen McKeen gives the plan design for the Ultimate Weapon to Emily Watson. Thompson and Petersen, and later Organa duel with Emily Watson in Watson's hangar in Draper. Watson escapes the city.[32]
Mission to Zira's city quarter: Eegan Grover was kidnapped by the Girl-Team, but was rescued by the Armies of Organa, and so began their affiliation with the International Alliance during the war against the girls.[5]
Charles spent great deals of time making amends with virtually everyone he had hurt in the past. As he felt very anxious at the prospect of approaching Valiera Nelson again, he arranged to leave her for last.[9][2]
Charles and Luke Norris shared “a really sensitive moment” together, which clearly made Charles confused since he was still devoted to Valiera Nelson.[27]

Petersen is able to talk GTR-10 into letting her fix it. She is surprised that GTR-10 had suddenly had a change of heart. Summer softly asks if he will stay with her now that the Girl-Team was destroyed, and he agrees.[10]

Dogfight over Earth: Peter Hecks takes off from Earth with NASA in their starship. Unfortunately, his parents disinherit him and leave the station before he can return to Earth. A Makkan is dispatched by leading authorities of his species to invade Earth, for which the others plan to join him. The Makkan arrives and Peter wrestles control from the other astronauts. The Makkan is killed, thwarting the intended invasion from Planet 12. Peter returns to Earth, where an officer named Dexter reveals that the Police Grand Army has arranged to adopt him.[39][42]
Upon arriving, Peter also meets double agent Annabeth Black for the first time. He goes to sleep at 5:23 p.m.[39]

The depleted forces of the Legions of Metta engage both the Police Department and the government. With the government aiming to capture a critical sector in the Knight War and receiving intelligence of a Mettan weapons facility in the mountains, the fighting begins.[38]
The police and government forces plan a bold move to capture the Supreme Exterminator Prematurity, sending Lord Thole, Mazie Idele and a number of former Knights to board the ship and disable its hyperdrive and self-destruct mechanism, due to their knowledge of Super Exterminator layouts. The plan is a success, and LadySierra Hale has her troops evacuate before destroying the Super Exterminator onto the bottom of the mountain. However before the crash, Lord Thole stuns and carries her to an escape pod before the Prematurity crashes, bringing them both into government custody.[38]
With the battle turning against the Legions of Metta, Mettan ships begin unleashing an irrational defense to prevent the government from capturing its secret research facility below. In a last-ditch effort, crippled Mettan ships use tractor beams to drag government vessels into the sides of the mountains. Upon impact with the stone, nearly the entire populations of the falling ships perish.[38]
The battle soon ends when word of a peace treaty, the International Consonance, is signed. Nonetheless, the retreating Knights jump into the Unknown Countries.[38]
During the battle, Smasa writes a long letter via computer to remember the battle.[38]

Peter Hecks sees the Dark Lord for the first time in a vision. His fondness for Annabeth Black increases.[39]
Throughout July, Charles continues his quest to make amends with everyone he has hurt.
Eventually, the Dark Witch Natalia Thornton leads the remnants of the Girl-Team to Nexus Tower, where the organization initiates a rapid military buildup. The Girl-Team becomes the Cavaliers of Thornton. With the Girl-Team disenchanted, Thornton turns to the members of the Armies of Organa. Whilst encouraging several dozen girls to strike back on several separate occasions, she places more boys under her spells, effectively turning them into submissive monsters.[2]
2039: Paige Nelson and Rotta Hecks also warn Master Intelligence that the ghosts of Hell Burnbottom and Mr. Stupid NoHead were formulating a plot and would soon come back, with the help of two mutants they had went up against before.[16]
Peter Hecks and Dexter are assigned to protect a politician from pirates who were kidnapping powerful figures for ransom. Pirates attack the vessel, and the politician is kidnapped despite the actions of the two police. Like Dexter, Peter suspects that the security weaknesses and malfunctions on the senator’s craft has been deliberate sabotage, since the craft had recently undergone security. He traces the sabotage back to the responsible factory in Maine.[39]

2029 (1 a.m.)
With help from Peter, Dexter discovers that the factory they seek is owned by Caravan. While they are investigating further, Sēon Cornelly arrives and lures the pair into an ambush. There, local battle robots appear and threaten the two police into surrendering. The incapacitated police are subsequently transported to Cornelly’s headquarters. The two police are captured by Cornelly, who plans to hold them until the state Senator is ransomed. Unfortunately, the senator dies from a sudden heart attack. This panicks Sean’s assistant, who rushes into the room with the officers and argues with the pirate leader. During their quarrel, Peter breaks free from his restraints and summons his sword through the now-opened door. Peter then duels with Cornelly, before arresting the two pirates and returning to New York with his friend.[39]

Independence Day is a holiday in the United States of America that celebrates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence and thus the formal acknowledgement of America as a separate nation from Great Britain. Though only an official holiday among the Fobble population of America, the mutant community, prior to the signing of the Treaty of America, unofficially celebrated the holiday as well, though not normally alongside Fobbles.[9] After the treaty was signed, they began celebrating the holiday together.

Mr. Crooked NoHead calls an important meeting outside Golgolod, where they plan to destroy the Jade Sanctum. Paige Nelson stumbles upon the conference, so Mr. Crooked NoHead attempts to kill her. Paige counters the beam with a force field, flees the base, and rallies the message to the police. In a turn of fate, she convinces them to help her destroy the NoHead menace once and for all.[46]

Although she is wearing a crop top, she quickly pulls a robe over them before heading to the balcony to meditate. A few minutes later, Nataya Hirz enters the room and Charity tells her about the dream, and that she fears it will really happen. She also told her if she was afraid of having another nightmare she didn’t have to go back to bed.[53]

Having picked up on Laura's resemblance to the woman he had met in March, and Nicholas having a brother named Saul, Charles questioned the possibility that this was the same Nicholas Valiera Nelson was related to. Intrigued as he was, Charles attempted to put the pieces together by asking Nicholas several questions with a false implication of innocent curiosity. He learns that Nicholas has a sister at Tower Placement and that she had moved in with a friend. When they return home, Charles realizes Nicholas is undoubtedly a Nelson.[2]

Halloween, a contraction of "All Hallows' Evening", is a holiday. Typical festive Halloween activities include; trick-or-treating, attending costume parties, decorating, carving pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted attractions, playing pranks, and telling scary stories. This applies to mutants also, but with their own special twist. At the MBH, there is a party every year on Halloween. Superhero School throws annual Halloween celebrations as well, and it can be assumed that other mutant schools did also. Additionally, Superhero School is, including the dormitories and cafeteria, decorated with Halloween decorations in October and early November.[35] Some individualized classes at Tower Placement School throw Halloween parties as well. In the cafeteria, Halloween songs are played and candy corn is served with lunches.[5]

Mutants are known to celebrate Thanksgiving as a holiday. The Thanksgiving period is a busy time for NYC Hospital, according to an article in the Perpetual Seer.[54]
Annabeth Black is sent on duty as a spy. She learns of Abigail's fight and reports to Mr. Stupid NoHead hastily. As such, a large military force is deployed to Bridgeton, led by Mr. Stupid NoHead himself. Black flees shortly before Ken is murdered, returning to the NoHead Base. After Ken's demise, NoHead takes his son, Qamar, after discovering the boy's power.[3]
Because it rained on Halloween, Bruce Wright sets up a stand in the middle of town giving candy away and telling people to start handing out candy of their own. While many had already done something else with their candy, many others did as Wright suggested.

Val Quintana goes on Instagram and demands that Charles leaves him alone and offends and threatens him. Upon learning of this, the Knights of Plague, unable to risk Fredrick getting better and exposing their plan, send him an anonymous “get-well-soon present” — a potted plant and a calendar. Because she is so busy, the Healer in charge of the ward at the time, Martha Strout, overlooks the plant’s dangers and leaves it on Fredrick’s bedside cabinet table.[54]
Russell Stewart is on duty standing guard beside the entrance to the Court of Domination, to prevent Knights of Plague from stealing the Orb of Power being stolen. Sebastian Lestange is present here, and he possesses Stewart.

Blaise Parton meets Charles and rips his backpack off his back, angering Charles and prompting him to chase him outside and to a stop sign, where he pins him down and steals back his possessions.[2]

On the way to Tutorial, Charles encounters Rose Johannson, who leads him to Carl, Ray Eliott, and Val Quintana. They have a conversation and reveal few, but crucial, things about themselves. Quintana complains about Miranda Patrick and inadvertently tells Charles she was lying about giving up smoking. The four have a merry conversation as they headed for the alcove near the science classrooms. However, they meet up at the door and agree to split.
Hours later, he contacted Johannson on Facebook, who told him she was in the office crying, shocking him. He also becomes very confused and offended because he thought she proceeded to unfriend him[2].

Charles realizes Quintana, Eliott, and Alex in the hallway, confirming to him that they had gotten back together. He encounters Carl again at the end of the day, who invites him to come upstairs and smoke weed. He is also messaged by Johannson, who invites him to hang out that same day[2].

She and her friend Nina taught Charles how to use a pipe, which he enjoyed immensely. Charles also meets her cat, Little Sister. They eventually go to Johannson's room, where Johannson told Charles about her boyfriend Andre and that Carl's friends dislike him. Johannson told him again that he was one of her best friends, and he told her she was one of his, and they watched several YouTube videos, during which time Charles learned more about her taste in media. Johannson, feeling very lonely and still needing homework-related assistance, asked Charles if he wanted to sleep over that night, but his mother says no. Eventually, Johannson's father goes to Smith's and buy them both something to eat. Fifteen minutes later, Charles' ride arrives[2].

Charles assembles presents for several of his friends early in the morning. He also messages Johannson and promises her he will give her her gift later and in person. After third period, he brings them down to the office, and an administrator asks for everyone's surnames so it will be easier to know who to call down to the office to retrieve the gifts. The gifts are for Hebe, Matthew, Carl Alex, Valiera Nelson, Luke Norris, Miranda Patrick, and Will Ostler. After school, Johannson asks what the gift is, but Charles points out that it would no longer be a secret. Johannson says she had plans for Christmas and they agree to see each other on Christmas Eve[2].

In the morning, Johannson asks Charles if he is in the mood to hang out, which he immediately agrees to do. Johannson asks him to bring her food and he offers to bring two boxes of macaroni and cheese so they can cook lunch together. When he arrives, they cook together, but Charles' hand is scratched severely by Little Sister. Johannson decides not to come with Christina, who is going to take Charles Christmas shopping. Christina also needs to go to the Dollar Store, which they go to prior to Walmart. Charles proceeds to meditate upon the winter solstice[2].
Charles tells Johannson he will bring her the gift. He has an quarrel with his parents and is unable to come see her until around 10:30 p.m. Johannson is delighted to receive the gift and they hug twice. He briefly explains what had happened, though he omits most of the situation until he contacts her on Facebook upon returning home[2].

The search for the Chosen One leads Baby Intelligence, Baby Strength, and Force Baby to Arizona, where a mysterious violet-cloaked mutant saves the trio from giant, savage Falgamas. The trio goes to Hotel Valley to spend the night, where Baby Intelligence stays up all night researching information about their quest.
Leah Hugh pulls Charles aside right before dinner and tells him that she had a restraining order set between him and Johannson, and between him and Alex[2].

Summer Petersen uploads a video in which she begins calmly pulling raisins out of her shrine and replacing them with grapes, symbolically citing that the raisins are painful memories.[13]
Baby Intelligence, Baby Strength, and Force Baby locate the first of Sir Edgar Caravan's three scrolls in a cave, only to learn there are two more to locate. That night, they have their car repaired. They leave the shop, only to encounter a horrible storm. Carol Wilcox offers them shelter for the night and they become acquainted.[6]
Carol Wilcox and Gobbles run into inumatu, but they manage to escape. Wilcox and her dog fly to the United States of America after ProfessorAnthony Ruth calls them and offers them employment. The condition is that Wilcox can get a sufficient amount of money from the Dancing Dorm. She and Gobbles to go the dorm and perform so well that the former is suspected to be a Duod.[6]
The trio are let into the Dancing Dorm by Carol Wilcox, where their dance moves earn them a bed for the night and the promise to have the second scroll in the morning. They are introduced to Bash.[6]
In the evening, the Armies of Organa celebrate the end of the Bow-Tie when Helen McKeen and Denim Spikes arrive and reveal that they have renounced the Girl-Team and arrange to attack Thunder Quarters. Both of them take off around midnight.[5]
